Dr Matthew Shears offers an operative solution involving a small incision in the groin to tie off and strip the main culprit (Long saphenous vein) as well as multiple stab avulsions to treat varicosities.

The surgery usually involves one night in hospital. If more minimally invasive options such as endovascular or sclerosing injections are more suited then Dr Shears can arrange referral to a specialist who does these procedures.
